Her work has received awards from the UK’s Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) and the American Institute of Architects (AIA), as well as many design competitions internationally.


Joyce has international acclaim and has been published in numerous books and features in The New York Times, The Sunday Times, Architecture Review (UK), Interior Design (US), Architettura d'Interni (IT), Maison Francaise (TU), Elle Magazine and other well respected media sources. 


She graduated from Notre Dame University with a degree in architecture before winning a Rotary Foundation scholarship to study in Rome and London.


Joyce was an architectural columnist for the Fort Myers News-Press and USA Today.

From 2019 to 2021, she served on the AIA National Strategic Council and is currently a member of the organization's Public Outreach Committee. Joyce was the 2017 President for the AIA Florida. She is twice the recipient of the AIA FlaSW Chapter Individual Honor Award, the W.R. Frizzell Award, and in 2018, her practice received Firm of the Year.
